Phil Singer is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Marathon Strategies, a strategic communications consulting firm that combines investigative rigor with an integrated communications platform to give leaders an information advantage – the intelligence, analysis, and strategic clarity required to communicate effectively in high-stakes environments.

Under Phil’s leadership, Marathon has grown into a nationally recognized, award-winning firm with offices in New York and Washington, D.C., advising leading companies and organizations on complex communications challenges that protect reputations, advance business objectives, and shape outcomes.

Prior to founding Marathon in 2008, Phil served as a senior communications spokesperson and strategic advisor to national political leaders including Senator Chuck Schumer, Secretary Hillary Clinton, and Senator John Kerry. Phil is a graduate of the University of Chicago and a thought leader on reputational risk and crisis communications.
