The National Association of State Treasurers (NAST)


We partnered with NAST to update and refresh its brand to help boost recruitment efforts and attendance at its three annual conferences.


In addition to a brand refresh, NAST also asked Marathon to streamline the branding for its three subnetworks to be more in line with its parent brand.


We worked with the NAST team to analyze messaging, collateral, and advertising efforts to create a comprehensive suite of creative offerings, including new logos, messaging, videos, graphics, and targeted digital ads that would encourage more members to join the Association and attend more conferences.


Since Marathon took over the development of NAST’s digital marketing plan and promotional materials, the organization has broken attendance records at its conferences while seeing membership numbers rise. Our efforts have helped position NAST among its competitors as the preeminent expert on state financial issues and the premier association in the field. In 2020, we worked with NAST to develop and implement a national marketing campaign to raise awareness of a vital savings program for people with disabilities, taking home two Telly Awards for our video production.
