Senior Communications Associate

Evelyn Swan is a Senior Communications Associate at Marathon Strategies, where she supports corporate communications and design management work for clients across sectors. She enjoys connecting with clients to ensure she fully understands the big picture of each project that she supports. Her experience includes corporate and policy communications, creative and design project management, and message development across integrated campaigns. Evelyn works closely with designers, writers, and digital teams to manage projects from concept through execution, ensuring alignment between strategy, visuals, and narrative. Her passion for history and current affairs informs her understanding of institutions, reputation, and the importance of consistency across projects.  

Before joining Marathon, Evelyn worked on Capitol Hill for U.S. Senator Angus S. King, Jr., translating complex legislative issues into accessible messaging and supporting communications for media and public engagement. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Thomas College. Based in Maine, Evelyn is an avid community volunteer in her free time and enjoys spending time outdoors.
