Kevin Higham

Senior Vice President, Research & Operation

Kevin Higham is Senior Vice President of Research & Operations at Marathon. He leads the firm’s research and vetting practice, overseeing complex research initiatives for clients across the political, corporate, nonprofit, and advocacy sectors, including background vetting, litigation support, opposition research, and in-depth policy analysis. Through this work, he has helped Marathon’s clients advance their agendas, weather PR storms, and avoid political risk. Based in Washington, DC, Kevin has nearly two decades of experience in political research and corporate communications. Before joining Marathon in 2016, he served as Deputy Director of Research in the office of former Vice President Joe Biden, where he oversaw the vetting process and conducted numerous policy and communications research projects. He began his career as a research associate at the Democratic National Committee during the 2008 election cycle. He is a graduate of Kent State University with a Bachelor of Arts in American Politics and History and holds a Master’s degree in Legislative Affairs from George Washington University.
