Krista develops written content, including thought leadership, messaging and talking points, original reports, and digital and social materials, for a diverse range of clients at Marathon Strategies. She has extensive experience distilling complex issues into an effective and compelling narrative that helps clients achieve their strategic communication goals. Throughout her career, Krista has written on numerous high-level policy issues, including energy, tax, health care, education, and technology. She also provides editorial review for written content, copyediting and proofing to ensure accuracy and consistency across all client deliverables. She brings her writing experience from DCI Group, where she also executed communications plans for clients. Prior to that, Krista served as VP of Communications at a trade association for nonprofit and state-based higher education finance organizations and as a press secretary on Capitol Hill. She graduated from the University of Kentucky with a B.A. in Political Science and earned her J.D. at Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.
