He has 15 years of experience working at media outlets in upstate New York and Beijing, most recently the Albany Times Union, where he was a founding member of the team that created the newspaper’s first-ever rapid-response beat, which uses online analytics and real-time dashboards to identify trends and generate content that attracts new audiences and drives digital subscriptions.
He’s a 2005 graduate of Syracuse University and lives in New York City.
