Robert Johnson
Vice President, Research
Robert is a seasoned investigative researcher and entrepreneur with over a decade of experience in the industry. The breadth of his investigative experience includes political opposition research, pre-transactional due diligence, litigation support, criminal defense engagements, federal contracting disputes, and research into multinational corporations, partners and agents. He is an expert in open-source research and has provided investigative services to clients in over 20 countries.
Prior to joining Marathon, he simultaneously served as the primary principal of a boutique research firm and the co-founder of an investigative software start-up. Robert began his career as an Investigative Analyst at Kroll Associates and led the development of the international investigative practice of an emerging investigative business.
Robert holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and German from Norwich University, the oldest private military college in the United States.
