Sophie Scott is a Senior Communications Associate specializing in corporate communications, reputation management, and media relations. Balancing strategy and storytelling, she drives awareness of individuals, brands, and their leaders across the entertainment, lifestyle, financial services, technology, and real estate industries.
Prior to joining Marathon in the fall of 2024, Sophie spent eight years working as a 3X Emmy Award winning Producer and Journalist for CNN’s Anderson Cooper 360°, CNN’s Investigative and Documentary Unit, NBC’s TODAY Show, and WABC-TV. With intimate knowledge of the country’s leading newsrooms, she has a keen sense of how to captivate the attention of desired audiences and break down the day’s most complicated stories.
A Summa Cum Laude graduate of Fordham University where she studied Communications and Journalism, Sophie also serves as the Communications Chair of the American Cancer Society’s Endurance Series and as a Board Member for I Have the Right To Org. She is the 2025 recipient of Fordham’s Trailblazer Award and resides in New York City.
